Tasmanian Wilderness Experience
“The Mountains are calling and I must go.”
At the end of the road there is a place where the tightness in your chest will loosen, where your racing heart will slow and where the only sounds are the lilting cries of black cockatoos and water moving over stones.
- Tasmanian Wilderness Experience
- October 27 – 30, 2017, November 17 - 20, 2017
Imagine for a moment standing in an ancient forest where time slows.Where you will feel fear and wonder and insignificance and return renewed. Picture yourself climbing a mountain and looking out over hills folding back on themselves, a horizon that expands your sense of self just by looking upon it. Imagine the feeling of tired muscles at the end of the day, not from a gym workout nor the usual fatigue of the end of a working day, but from walking through flowering forests, stepping across button grass plains, hopping over wild clear streams where the water is so cold it feels like it has sprung from the heart of the mountain. Or perhaps you will paddle on the back of the pristine lake finding secret beaches to explore and return from the day changed. If you allow yourself to come with us to the end of the road, you will reach a place where the kiss of the sun on your skin, the caress of the wind through your hair and the sense of space and freedom will renew your body, mind and spirit.
Me Time Experiences have collated a unique wilderness experience for those who hear the mountains calling but only have a small moment of time to experience them. Staying on the edge at Pedder Wilderness Lodge, you will feel the pull of Tasmania’s largest National Park and World Heritage area. You will have the chance to step back, retreat from the busyness and chaos of modern life and seek peace and perspective ina wild space like no other on the planet. You will have the opportunity to do this with two experienced guides who know the landscape, the weather, the animals, the flowers and can open up this majestic world to you. You will sleep in a warm, comfortable bed. You will eat beautiful food, sourced locally and prepared just for you.
We’ve been here. We’ve walked the mountain. We’ve paddled the lake. We’ve returned quietened, renewed, invigorated and changed. Imagine giving yourself such an experience. And then do it.
